Flash Words
A large array of cognitive processes are examined using the very brief presentations of verbal stimuli, such as word lists, nonsense syllables and number strings. It is useful in the assessment of language processing, implicit memory and priming, among aphasic and normal subjects. The program may also be used to examine reading skill among learning disabled subjects. The user has full control of brief duration presentations in different parts of the visual fields. Memory for words may also be examined using a word stem completion task built into Flash Words.
